We are still working with found objects and the resources that are around the school are amazing, our relief teacher Jenny was cutting up all this wood for us and then we see her walking through the studio with a plank under her arm heading to the saw, somebody was able to acquire the planks from the old Port Kembla Pier, it is a piece of this divine old wood that is my base and it still had some of the old nails in it.
Most of these pieces were from our jaunt to the reverse garbage a few weeks ago, the cork, nut and plastic beetle I picked up in the car park on my way back from morning break in the canteen.
